The SOP Rocket desktop app
SOP Rocket is free, open-source software that runs on your Windows computer. Your standard operating procedures (SOPs), screenshots, and other content you create are stored locally on your machine in a folder you choose. The desktop app does not collect, transmit, or store your SOP data on any server. There is no account, no login, and no telemetry built into the app itself.
This website (soprocket.com)
We use PostHog, a product-analytics tool, to understand how visitors use the site. Events are sent to us.i.posthog.com. PostHog records anonymous events such as page views and clicks — including clicks on the “Download for Windows” button — along with standard browser metadata like user agent, referrer, and an approximate country derived from your IP address. PostHog stores a small identifier in your browser's local storage and cookies so successive page views in the same session can be counted as one visit.
We do not create personal profiles for anonymous visitors (PostHog is configured with person_profiles: 'identified_only'). We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising. We use it solely to see which pages are useful and which calls-to-action are working.
If you'd prefer not to be tracked, you can block PostHog with most ad blockers (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, etc.), enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, or use a privacy-focused browser that blocks third-party analytics by default. Blocking analytics has no effect on your ability to download or use SOP Rocket.
